Northgate posts higher Q1 net

HYDERABAD: Northgate Technologies, an IT solutions company, has registered a net profit of Rs. 11.80 crore during the first quarter of the current financial year ended June 30, 2007, against Rs. 4.07 crore registered during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. The growth was driven by the company's online advertisement and telecom business. The consolidated revenue for the quarter stood at Rs. 46.90 crore. Earnings per share increased to Rs. 8.54 from Rs. 3.35.
