NEW DELHI:
The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) and the United States Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote greater co-operation through the exchange of information, and to increase awareness of the importance of the quality and safety of medicines.
The MoU was signed on behalf of the IPC by Prasanna Hota, Chairman, IPC, and Union Health and Family Welfare Secretary, and on behalf of the USP by Roger L. Williams, executive vice president and CEO.
Greater interaction
The MoU will promote greater interaction between the IPC and USP through collaboration on regional scientific conferences, seminars, training, workshops and educational courses.
