Seven get appointment orders from Collector
Collector R. Palaniyandi issued appointment orders to seven persons who had selected for the posts of record clerks with various departments, at a function held here on Monday.
Of the new recruits, R. Muthukani of Tuticotin, Radhakrishnan of Kovilpatti and C. Anbazhagan of Ottapidaram were posted at the Collectorate. K. Sivakumar of Tuticorin and T. Nanamalar of Anthoniyarpuram were posted at the office of Joint-Director of Fisheries.
S. Vijayakumar of Kodiyankulam and T. Murugan of Tuticorin were posted at the office of Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Taxes.
Later, Dr. Palaniyandi gave away a solatium of Rs. five lakh to Mani and Pitchammal, parents of one Narayanan, who was killed by terrorists last year while he was serving in the Border Security Force.
