Student unions form parishad

JEYPORE: Student unions of south Orissa formed the `South Orissa Vikash Parishad' to strengthen education and address problems faced by students in south Orissa at a meeting held here on Saturday.

The parishad decided to meet in the last week of August to discuss its future programme.

Das was nominated as president while former president of VD College Students' Union, Satish Kumar Sahu, was nominated organising secretary.
