Teenaged lovers end life

Staff Reporter

NALGONDA: Two teenaged lovers committed suicide at Bollepally in Kattamgur mandal late on Monday night.

According to police sources, Janjirala Saidulu (17), an Intermediate student, and Peddolla Nirmala (16), a tenth class student, reportedly fell in love recently. Sensing the close association of her son with Nirmala, their neighbour's daughter, Saidulu's mother scolded him a couple of days ago. She advised the boy to concentrate on studies to come up in life.

The duo watched a movie at Kattamgur in the afternoon and returned to a secluded place near their village, where they reportedly consumed a pesticide. They were shifted to a hospital in serious condition on Monday but died while undergoing treatment.

Baby's body found

Meanwhile, an infant's body was found in a box on Devarakonda road. The one-day-old boy was packed in a cloth and was placed in a carton. The police shifted the body to the district headquarters hospital.
