Mayor urged to release ex gratia

HYDERABAD: Tarnaka Corporator B. Latha appealed to Mayor T. Krishna Reddy to release an ex gratia of Rs. 1 lakh to the family of G. Kumaraswamy, 35, who died when he accidentally fell into an overflowing nala last week.

She informed Mr. Reddy that the victim's family was in dire financial straits as his wife is ailing and son is suffering from a heart problem.
