Attendance exemption for Inter private candidates

HYDERABAD: The Board of Intermediate Examinations is inviting applications from private candidates with arts combinations for attendance exemption to appear in Inter Public Examinations (IPE) to be held in March 2007. Applications will be considered on payment of exemption fee of Rs.500.

Candidates with a gap of one year after passing the S.S.C exam or its equivalent can appear for first year IPE and those having a gap of two or more years can take both first and second year exams simultaneously. Students can also change optional subjects, only after applying for exemption from attendance, said an official spokesman. The syllabus will be on a par with the regular students.

Application forms can be obtained from the Regional Inspection Office on payment of Rs. 20 and the last date for submission of the forms without late fee is August 10. Forms can also be submitted with a late fee of Rs. 200 up to August 21 and with a late fee of Rs. 500 until August 31.
