India Post introduces `Rakhi envelope'

KOCHI: India Post has introduced `Rakhi envelope'.

Costing Rs.5 per envelope (with postage charge extra), it will be available in four different colours and designs.

They are being introduced in Kerala as `Rakshabandhan' is gaining popularity in the State, a press release said.

The Rakhi envelopes are available at the Head Post Offices in Kochi, Ernakulam, Kayamkulam, Thrissur, Muvattupuzha and Aluva.

These envelopes can also be purchased from the post offices at Mattancherry, Palluruthy, Kochi Naval Base, Willingdon island, Thrikkakkara, Udyogamandal, Kochi University, Angamali, Thoppumpady, M.G. Road, Ernakulam North, Palarivattom, Tripunithura, Edapally, Kalamasserry, High Court, Shanmugham Road and Kalady.
