KOCHI: Congress leader M.I. Shanavas has urged the CPI(M) leadership to control the Students Federation of India (SFI) which has "unleashed agitations and campaign against courts" following the Kerala High Court judgement on self-financing colleges. The reaction of the student organisation violated all limits of decency and the State Government was giving silent support to the reaction of the SFI. The agitation of the SFI challenges the rule of law in the State, said a statement issued by Mr. Shanavas here on Tuesday. The SFI leadership should end its campaign against the courts and the CPI(M) leadership should rein in the SFI, he said.
