KOCHI: The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, Kerala branch, has organised a lecture on U.S. visas, at International Hotel on Wednesday morning. The session will be led by Mark Fry, Chief of Visas, U.S. Consulate, Chennai. Specific topics covering immigrant/non-immigrant visas, emergency visas, etc. will be discussed. - Staff Reporter

Resumes service

KOCHI: Sagara Rani, the tourist vessel of the Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation, has resumed service in the Kochi backwaters, following monsoon-repair works. Khadi scheme

KOCHI: The Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board has introduced a scheme to sell khadi and village industries goods on instalment basis. Employees of Central and State Governments, banks and other public undertakings can avail of the facility. - Staff Reporter

Passports issued

KOCHI: The Regional Passport Office, Kochi, has processed and issued passports for applications got till June 23, where police verification is over. The passports have been despatched in the week ending July 28, the Regional Passport Officer informed. - Staff Reporter
