One killed in accident

Thiruvananthapuram: A 38-year-old man was killed after he was knocked off his motorbike by an unidentified vehicle at Puthoor, Kottarakara, on Tuesday evening. Local people rushed him to Kottarakara taluk hospital and later to Medical College Hospital (MCH), but he could not be saved. He has been identified as Narayanan Potti of Kadakkal. He was the priest at Aryankavu Ayyappan temple. The body has been kept in the MCH mortuary. — Staff Reporter

Man run over

Thiruvananthapuram: A 68-year-old man, who was standing at the gate of his house by the main road at Neyyattinkara, was run over by a car on Tuesday evening. He was identified as Francis. The body has been kept in the MCH mortuary. — Staff Reporter

Thiruvananthapuram: The Revolutionary Youth Front (RYF) has sought an inquiry into the alleged harassment of job aspirants seeking emigration clearance for employment in foreign countries, particularly those of the Gulf. — Staff Reporter
