Hotel Leela's expansion project on course
BANGALORE
: Hotel Leelaventure has reported a three fold increase in its net profit at Rs. 62.78 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2006, from Rs. 14.96 crore in the corresponding period last year. The rise was supported by an income of
Rs. 40.58 crore from the sale of Leela Business Park, Mumbai. The expansion of the room capacity of The Leela Palace Kempinski, Bangalore, is on course and guestrooms are expected to open by December. The third phase of the upgradation of rooms in The Leela Kempinski, Mumbai, is expected to be completed by October.
