Bajwa takes over as Artillery chief

NEW DELHI: Lt. Gen. A. S. Bajwa has taken over as Director-General of Artillery here. Lt. Gen. Parmendra Kumar Singh is the new General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Jaipur-based Southwestern Command. Both officers were commissioned on December 16, 1967 in the artillery regiment.

Air Marshal Jyoti Narayan Burma took over as Air Officer-in-Charge Administration of the Air Force at the air headquarters here on Tuesday. Commissioned in 1972, he has been decorated with the Ati Vishisth Seva Medal and the Vishisth Seva Medal, in addition to a commendation from the Chief of Air Staff.
