Robredo, Ancic to play in Mumbai Open

Chennai: World No.7 Tommy Robredo of Spain, No.8 Mario Ancic (Croatia) and No. 9 Radek Stepanek (Czech Republic) are the top-10 players who have confirmed their participation for the $380,000 ATP Mumbai Open tennis tournament to be held from September 25 to October 1.

The tournament, which will take place in the Cricket Club of India in South Mumbai will also feature Olympic singles bronze medallist and doubles gold-medallist Fernando Gonzalez (Chile), former French Open champion Carlos Moya of Spain and World No. 18 German Nicolas Kiefer, besides Indians Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi. — Sports Reporter
