BANGALORE: Flareon and Really Romantic pleased when the horses were exercised here on Wednesday morning (Aug. 2).

Inner sand:

1,200m: Wire To Wire (Gnaneshwar) 1-24, 600/42. Moved on the bit.

Outer sand:

800m: Winfoot (L. Marshall) 1-1, 600/43. Worked well. Alyquin (Nagesh) 57, 600/43.5. Retains form. Little Robin (S. Ramesh) 1-0, 600/46. Easy.

1,000m: Jersey Pride (Christopher) 1-12, 800/58, 600/45.5. Moved freely.

1,200m: Friendly Fire (Uday Kiran) 1-26, 1,000/1-12, 800/58.5, (1,200-600) 38.5. Eased up. Really Romantic (S. Shinde), Private Eye (R. Marshall) 1-25, 1,000/1-10, 800/54.5, 600/42. Former moved fluently and finished about eight lengths ahead.

1,400m: Flareon (Gallagher) 1-41, 1,200/1-25.5, 1,000/1-10, 800/55, 600/43. Responded well to the urgings. Compton Star (Shobhan), Amazing Senorita (R. Marshall) 1-43, 1,200/1-27, 1,000/1-12.5, 800/57, 600/44.5. Former was four lengths behind at the start and finished level.

Jockey's licence withdrawn:

The Stewards have decided to withdraw the licence of R. Marshall with effect from August 10, 2006 to March 31, 2007 (both days inclusive) for not permitting his mount Candle Light to run on his merit in the Manitou Cup (div. II) held on July 30.
