Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cricket Association at it's executive meeting has decided to co-opt N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, Government Chief Whip, AP Legislative Assembly, and Dharam Chand Jain as vice-presidents of the HCA for the term 2006-08, according to N. Shivlal Yadav, secretary of HCA.
Easy for Rajashree
Rajashree Vidyamandir scored a 25-10, 25-7 win against Little Flower High School in the T. Gopal Trophy volleyball tournament for boys (under-14) at Mushirabad Playground here. Harshavardan, Sampath and Machender combined well for the winner while Madhava Chary and Sainath put up a good show for the loser. In other matches, Vidyanagar defeated Victory Playground 25-3, 25-8, while Vignan Convent High School recorded a 25-15, 25-17 win against Neredmet Playground.
Rain mars play
Rain prevented play on the second and final day of the round-robin match between Guntur and Anantapur in the ACA inter-zone under-15 tournament in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. Guntur, on 90 for three at close on Tuesday in reply to Anantapur's first innings total of 78, gained two points.
