HYDERABAD: The police have identified 32 sensitive and eight hypersensitive localities in North Zone area and posted armed pickets for the ensuing Secunderabad Cantonment Board elections to be held on Sunday. More than 1,000 policemen and officers, including armed personnel, have been drafted for the stringent security measures, which are in place for the polls.

One hundred and five candidates are in the fray from areas falling within the North Zone. Gun licence holders have been asked to deposit their weapons at the police stations concerned, according to zonal DCP Shikha Goel.
