IGI Airport under DIAL control

NEW DELHI: Delhi International Airport Ltd. (DIAL), the joint venture company led by Hyderabad-based GMR Group, on Thrusday said it has taken full control of operations at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.

The move comes after the completion of the three-month transition period which began on May 3, a release by DIAL said here. DIAL said it had taken up improvements in seating, floor lighting and toilet facilities and also addition of new X-ray machines for faster security checks of passengers. — PTI
