CHENNAI: K. Rajani, the rider from Chennai, sponsored by TVS Motor Co. Ltd., had a dream run in the third round of the Malaysian races, held in July 2006, winning both races in the Kawasaki Cup. He also leads the points' table for the championship in that class. It was a day of mixed fortunes for the rest of the Indian boys. Ashwin Sundar, another rider backed by TVS Motor Co. Ltd. and Schwing Setter, in the underbone class, had mechanical problems in both the races. The third rider from TVS, Preetam Dev Moses could not attend this meet, as he is under medical supervision. Emmanuel Jebaraj, the fourth rider from Chennai, backed by Dinesh Reddy, rode well and finished fifth overall in the Kawasaki Cup class and has moved up in the championship table to third position with two more rounds to go.
