The scores: Pre-quarterfinals: The Higher Secondary School for Boys 163 for six in 16 overs (V. Pradeep Krishna 42, V. Srinath 43) bt Adam Matriculation Higher Secondary School 41 in 9 overs (S. Parthiban three for 9). Campion AI HSS 99 for nine in 16 overs lost to Abod Marcel HSS 105 for two in 14 overs (Kaleeswaran 43 n.o, Silambarasan 38). E.R HSS 81 all out in 15.5 overs lost to Alpha MHSS 81 for nine in 16 overs. Alpha declared winner by virtue of losing less wickets. Tuvarankurichi Government HSS 132 for seven in 16 overs (Haridev four for 19) bt Velankanni Raj MHSS 98 for eight in 16 overs.
