CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Government has decided to merge Dearness Allowance equal to 50 per cent in the basic pension or family pension as Dearness Pay (DP) with effect from December 15, 2005 of the pensioners of aided schools, K.K. Khandelwal, Commissioner and Director General School Education said here on Thursday. The Government had also decided to grant DA at the rate of 21 per cent with effect from December 15, 2005 and 24 per cent with effect from January 1, 2006 after merger of 50 per cent DA as DP, he added.
