Poster problems
The Nagarjuna starrer `Shiva' in the 90s was a path-breaking film in the Telugu tinsel world, which introduced Ramgopal Varma as director but also stabilised Nagarjuna's position as a star.
Now the sequel of the film being produced by Ramgopal Varma himself has created a buzz much before the film's release.
The caption, `What if the cops themselves were criminals' is said to have peeved the police top brass of the city.
Posters using that signature emblem of the original `Shiva' - a fist holding a cycle chain - with that caption were hastily removed from different parts of the city.
Last heard the posters were being redone.
Ilayaraja, who gave the pulsating original score, is said to have re-used some of the tunes for the new version as well.
Nagarjuna, who were to have starred in the sequel, will now be releasing the film's audio on August 11.
