Hyderabad Central asked to comply with fire safety rules

Legal Correspondent

HYDERABAD: A Division Bench of the High Court on Thursday granted two weeks' time to Hyderabad Central at Panjagutta here to comply with all the conditions laid down by Director-General of Fire Services.

The Bench had directed two advocates and the officer to inspect the building to ascertain whether the builders had really complied with all the safety measures as claimed by them.

The Bench was dealing with a case of non-compliance of fire safety measures by high-rise buildings in the city.
