TIRUNELVELI: An unbeaten 71 by Kannan and a 50 by Ashwin Prasad helped Tirunelveli chalk out a two-wicket victory over Krishnagiri in the TNCA inter-district under-15 cricket tournament on Friday. In another match, Sivaramakrishnan's five wickets, including a hat-trick, could not stop his team Namakkal from losing to Perambalur by 89 runs. Meanwhile, Nilgiris defeated Erode and Thiruvarur at the Lawrence School ground in Lovedale. The host defeated Thiruvarur by two wickets and followed it up with a convincing ten-wicket win over Erode. Earlier, J. Pradeep's six-wicket haul helped Cuddalore defeat Dharmapuri by 76 runs in Cuddalore. The scores: Zone A: Cuddalore 117 in 36.2 overs (R.
