Two caught by Lok Ayukta

Bangalore: M.C. Hombalaiah, Revenue Inspector, Bangalore Mahanagara Palike, Malleswaram, was caught by the Lok Ayukta staff on Thursday while he was allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 2,000 for changing a katha in favour of complainant Rathnamala, wife of Chandrashekar. Hombalaiah has been arrested, according to an official press release. In another case, Sathyaprakash, refractionist of Minto Eye Hospital, was caught while he was allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 150 in addition to Rs. 100 that he received on Wednesday as an advance.
