HYDERABAD: On a day of fast moving developments in the High Court on Friday, a single judge issued notices to Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and APCC president K. Keshava Rao asking them to explain why contempt proceedings should not be initiated against them. Justice P.S. Narayana was reacting to a letter written by one Rama Rao from Khammam, who drew the court's attention to the comments allegedly made against the High Court. Immediately after the Judge's order, Advocate-General C. V. Mohan Reddy requested the Division Bench to hear an appeal filed against the order of the Single Judge in the evening itself. The appeal was allowed. The Chief Minister and the APCC chief allegedly made some remarks about the tone, tenor and timing of these orders.
