KOLKATA: The president of the Cricket Association of Bengal, Jagmohan Dalmiya, moved the City Civil Court on Friday challenging the summons issued to him by the BCCI to appear before its disciplinary committee on August 15 in Chennai. The case comes up for further hearing on August 10. Mr. Dalmiya's lawyer contended that the BCCI's previous notice asking the former to appear before the disciplinary committee was challenged in the court and during this period the BCCI could not issue fresh summons. The BCCI had asked Mr. Dalmiya to attend the disciplinary committee meeting on July 26 in connection with the PILCOM (Pakistan-India-Lanka organising committee for the 1996 World cup) accounts.
