Training course for special education teachers

HYDErABAD: The Helen Keller's Training College for the teachers' of the hearing impaired is organising a two-year teachers training course — Diploma in Special Education (Hearing Impaired). Those who complete the course successfully are eligible to be appointed as teachers in colleges run by the Government, TTD and other NGOs for the hearing and speech impaired students and also in the Integrated Schools for the disabled Children, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and DPEP.

Candidates seeking admission should have obtained 40 per cent marks in Intermediate. Application forms could be obtained from the college by sending a demand draft for Rs. 150 in favour of Helen Keller's Training College for the Teachers of the hearing impaired, Kadapa and a self-addressed envelope with a Rs. 10 postal stamp. The last date for submission of forms is August 21.
