Oyster Cove claims main event

Pune: Oyster Cove (Aadesh up) won the Akkasaheb Maharaj Trophy, the main event of the opening day's races held here on Saturday (Aug. 5). The winner is owned by Mr. & Mrs. K.N.Sunderji. S.K.Sunderji trains the winner.

In the eighth race, Sizzler (Baria up) broke down near 900m and dislodged the rider. Baria was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
