HUBLI: President of Karnataka Development Forum Patil Puttappa has called upon Kannada activists in Bangalore to take up the issue of "injustice" meted out to Kannadigas in recruitment of railway personnel in the State.

Addressing presspersons here on Saturday, Mr. Puttappa alleged that majority of the candidates recruited by the Railway Recruitment Board in Bangalore during the last six years were from other States. He criticised MPs from the State for not raising the issue in Parliament.

A delegation of the forum would meet the Prime Minister, the Railway Minister and other ministers this month-end to highlight the issues, he said.
