Gujarat varsity bans Pepsi, Coke

New Delhi : The Gujarat University and the Rajasthan Assembly on Saturday banned the sale of Pepsi and Coca Cola with immediate effect, in view of allegations that they contain high levels of pesticide.

The ban is applicable in all colleges affiliated to the Gujarat University, Vice Chancellor Parimal Trivedi said in Ahmedabad. The ban on their sale in Rajasthan Assembly's canteen came a day after the Government banned them in educational institutions.
