London : Sumit Sharma scored a patient half-century as India under-19 managed to pull off a draw against England under-19 in the second four-day cricket Test at Taunton. Set a stiff target of 363, Indians saw off 61 overs on the final day on Friday to enforce the draw. When stumps were drawn, India was 148 for four in its second innings. India was reeling at 36 for two at one stage after England declared its second innings at 342 for seven, but Sharma (56) and T. Srivastava (39 n.o.) forged a crucial 83-run stand for the third wicket. Earlier, resuming at 190 for two, England skipper Varun Chopra (164) completed his century. The third and final Test begins at Shenley on Sunday. PTI
