Raja memorial all-Kerala tennis tournament at the TTC courts on Saturday. The quarterfinal line-up in the boy's under-12 section has been completed. RSC plans football academy
At Kochi, yhe Regional Sports Centre plans to start a football academy for under-15 boys at Kadavanthra with some top former internationals supervising the show. According to RSC secretary George Thomas, C.C. Jacob will hold overall charge while Olympian O. Chandrasekharan will be the technical advisor. Former stars, including Olympian Simon Sunderraj, Sethumadhavan, Victor Manjila, T.A. Jafar, K.P. Williams and M.M. Jacob will be the coaches. The centre will soon hold selection trials.
