BANGALORE: Shree Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain College won both the men's and women's titles in the Beagles inter-collegiate basketball tournament here on Friday. SBMJC defeated RNSIT 62-52 in the men's final while it's the women's team beat Marimallappa College, Mysore 48-45 in the final.
KPMG Road Run today
The KPMG's Independence Day Road Run will be conducted here on Sunday by the Bangalore Sports Club. Over 200 children from more than 100 schools will participate in the event which will begin at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.
State badminton
The People's Education Trust along with the Mandya District Badminton Association will conduct the State championship at the PET Stadium in Mandya from August 19 to 22.
