Prisoner dies in hospital

JEYPORE: Madan Mandangi, a convict, died of diarrhoea in the district headquarters hospital at Koraput on Wednesday. He was convicted in a murder case.

No-confidence move

RAYAGADA: A no-confidence notice was served by 20 of 38 members of Rayagada Zilla Parishad against Chairperson Ketaki Gamang. The dissident members alleged that Gamang, a tribal, was indulging in corruption. The notice was handed over to the Revenue Divisional Commissioner to convene a meeting of the Zilla Parishad for a debate and vote on the notice.
