Aptitude test

The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (KPTCL/ESCOM) has scheduled its Technical Aptitude Test (TAT) for the contract basis recruitment of 200 Assistant Engineers (Electrical) and 300 Junior Engineers (Electrical) on August 13 (Ref: Notification No. KPTCL/B16/4314/2005-06 dated 1.6.2006). KPTCL has dispatched individual intimation to applicants.

The candidates without any intimation, may get status and duplicate admit cards from www.kptcl.com.

Phone-in programme

Bharat Lal Meena, managing director of KPTCL and chairman of ESCOMs, will participate in the phone-in programme called "Hello Akashavani" on August 7 from 7.45 to 8.30 p.m. Participants can place their queries by calling 22370477.

Matrimonial centre

Yajur Upakarma

Balasubramanya Ganapatigal, well known for conducting Vedic rituals in Bangalore, will conduct Yajur Upakarma at Kadu Malleswara Temple, 15th Cross Malleswaram on August 9.
