KOTTAYAM: The Federation of Kerala Associations of North America (FOKANA) will take the lead in the construction of an airport in central Travancore, from where a large number of Malayalis have migrated to the United State, federation president Sasidharan Nair has said. Talking to presspersons here on Saturday, Mr. Nair said the federation would hold talks with Malayalis in other countries on the feasibility of a `Nedumbasser y model' airport either in Kottay am or Pathanamthitta district.
