Bidar: At least 180 huts and kuccha houses were damaged in Aurad taluk owing to heavy rain on Saturday evening. It has been raining continuously for three days in Bidar district. There have been no injuries or death of people or cattle anywhere in the district. Revenue officials said at least 60 houses were damaged in Janata Colony, Bharat Nagar, Goundi Galli and other areas in Bidar city. At least 50 houses were damaged in Chintaki village and 70 were damaged in Medapalli Tanda. A team of revenue officials headed by Tahsildar Kashinath Pyage was touring the taluk to estimate the damage, officials said.
