Asim Bin Osman scalps seven

Hyderabad: Asim Bin Osman took seven wickets for 13 runs to guide Sunil Raghava CC to a 136 run win over Kosaraju CC in the A-2 division league cricket championship here on Sunday.

The results: A-2 Division: Sunil Raghava CC 185 (Sohail Khan 50, B. Yashwanth 40, Jahangir five for 46, Chandu five for 42) bt Kosaraju CC 49 (Asim Bin Osman seven for 13).

Marredpally Blues 254 for eight (T. Uday Goud 126 not out, Ritesh V. Rao 55, Ahmed four for 72) bt Khursheed Jah CC 196 (Ibrahim Hashim 47).

Nataraj CC 76 lost to MCC 77 for two.

A-3 Division: Ekavalaya CC 185 (Dhanaji 95) lost to HUCC 197 for seven (Mohd. Altaf Younus 52, Mohd. Mohsin Uddin 50, Ramanjaneya Raju five for 41).

Districts league: Adilabad 103 (Kishore 50, Kareem eight for 42) lost to Nizamabad 110 for six (T Srinivas 53, Mukesh five for 42).

B-Division: Rushi Raj 188 (Rasheed 46, Vishal four for 20) lost to Lal Bahadur CC 191 for eight (Uday 60).

Vijay CC 184 for eight (Sai 55, Murtuza five for 23) lost to Shamnagar CC 185 for seven (Jawad 52 not out).

Good knock by Ramesh

G. Ramesh Yadav scored 162 (26x4) off 186 balls to help Navjeevan Friends CC (Secunderabad Public School) to register a 155 run win over Hyderabad Cricket Academy in the Schools league cricket tournament on Sunday.

Khammam district defeated Nellore 21-18, 21-16 in the mens league matches of the senior inter district sepak takraw tournament at Nalgonda on Sunday according to information received here.

APSACS Cup cricket

The third day-night APSACS Cricket Cup will be conducted by the Sports Coaching Foundation, Masab Tank from Sept. 2. The tournament is open only to medical sector employees, namely employees of hospitals, medical colleges, pharma companies and organisations connected with medical services.

The tournament is being sponsored by the AP Aids Control Society. Teams wishing to take part may contact the Sports Coaching Foundation, Masab Tank, Hyderabad (Ph 93965 59440).
