Roshan shines

New Delhi: The seven-member Indian contingent made a good start to its campaign in the AIBA World cadet boxing championship in Istanbul with Roshan Singh winning his first round bout in the 60-kg category.

Roshan convincingly beat Tazyyeov Vushal of Azerbaijan on points and faces Iraliev Aigali of Kazakhstan in the next round.

A total of 212 boxers, representing 43 countries, are taking part in the championship. — UNI
