Belgaum: The PGCET Cell has announced the merit list of candidates who have applied for admission to the MCA programmes offered by university departments/constituent colleges/affiliated colleges of Bangalore, Mangalore; Gulbarga; Tumkur; Kuvempu; Mysore; Karnataka; and Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). According to VTU Registrar M.S. Shivakumar, 2,365 candidates took the MCA entrance test and 2,306 ranks had been declared. This includes those from outside the State. Candidates whose ranks have been announced with the remark, "Results awaited" should confirm their eligibility at 8.00.A.M.at the counselling centre on their day of counselling. Candidates should bring a demand draft drawn in favour of "Member Secretary, PAC" payable at Belgaum for Rs.50,000 towards the tuition fees. If any of the colleges has specified a lower tuition fee, it will be refunded on application. The college-wise fees list is available on website http@//pgcet.vtu.ac.in Counselling will be held at two centres PGCET Cell at "Jnana Sangama" campus of VTU in Belgaum and BMS college of engineering, Bull Temple Road, Bangalore. Seat selection for MCA is scheduled to start on August 9. Candidates should attend the seat selection process according to the scheduled announced on websites www.vtu.ac.in or http://pgcet.vtu.ac.in
