CET counselling under lateral entry scheme today

BANGALORE: The Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will hold counselling on Monday for second and third semester engineering courses for those seeking admission in both day and evening engineering colleges under the lateral entry scheme.

This is for the special categories including National Cadet Corps; physically disabled; sports; scouts and guides; defence and ex-defence. Those seeking admission should be present at the CET Cell office at 9.30 a.m. on Monday.

Diploma holders

The cell said it had published the merit list of diploma holders who appeared for the entrance test for admissions through lateral entry scheme at all the examination centres and also on the website kar.nic.in/cet

Seat selection for the other eligible rank holders will be held as follows in four sessions — 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; 11.15 a.m. to 1.15 p.m.; 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. ; and 4.15 p.m. to 6.15 p.m. The cell will conduct seat selection for eligible diploma holders for the architecture course at 9 a.m. on August 25.
