It's Sandra vs Greeshma

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sandra Sasidharan will meet Greeshma Roy in the women's singles final of the G.V. Raja memorial all-Kerala tennis tournament. The players recorded contrasting wins in the semifinals at the TTC courts on Sunday.

While a rampant Sandra whipped Ann Leela Sumanam 6-0, 6-0, Greeshma came back strongly after losing the first set to beat back Neha S. Nair 6-7, 6-2, 6-4.

Lovers, Rovers post wins

Lovers CC and Rovers CC recorded wins in the G.V. Raja memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the Medical College ground on Sunday.

Lovers CC crushed Infosys by 123 runs while Rovers CC defeated TCC, Kayamkulam, by three wickets.

The scores: Lovers CC 244 for six in 26 overs (Sajan 66) bt Infosys 121 in 23 overs.

TCC, Kayamkulam, 152 in 26 overs (Sajith Kumar 43) lost to Rovers CC 153 for seven in 22.2 overs.
