Priyadarshini Club bags title

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Priyadarshini Aquatic Club won the overall title in the Thiruvananthapuram district senior aquatic championships that concluded at the Water Works Swimming pool here on Sunday.

Priayadarshini, which won the team title in women's section, logged 220 points to finish ahead of Dophin (187) and Royal (161).

Nine records were rewritten on the final day that saw V. Remya set her fourth record of the meet. K.C. Sreejith and V. Remya won the individual titles in the men's and women's section respectively.

In waterpolo, Dolphin took the men's title after edging out YMA 5-4 in the final. Priyadarshini won the women's title with a 8-6 win over Dolphin Club.
