Diploma course in photography

CHENNAI:
Softview Visual Communication is offering a diploma course in photography.
The classes will be held over the weekends for three months.
The course includes an introduction, basics of an SLR camera, solving camera problems and trouble shooting.
Rules of composition, lighting and background, photography methods (portrait, functional, landscape, architecture, fish eye view and flash), digital camera, scanning operations, colour and image correction will also be taught.
Special attention will be provided for landscaping and action photography.
The course fee is Rs. 7,500, inclusive of material, film rolls, film development, technical tour, printing charges and guest lectures. The training received during the course opens doors to careers in the news media, advertising, film industry, fashion and magazines.
Admission closes on August 9. The course, which has limited seats, begins on August 12.
