Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary V. S. Sivakumar has blamed the State Government for the Centre's denial of granting international container terminal status to Vizhinjam citing security reasons. Though the United Democratic Government had cleared all formalities with regard to the Vizhinjam harbour, the Left Democratic Front Government did not show the political will to pursue the matter, he said in a statement here. - Staff Reporter
