KFC to lend Rs. 32 cr. in Thiruvananthapuram dt.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Financial Corporation (KFC) will lend Rs. 32 crore to entrepreneurs in Thiruvananthapuram district this financial year, the institution said in a press release here on Tuesday. Quoting KFC Managing Director, V. M. Gopala Menon, the release said this State public sector financial institution had on offer several loan products tailor-made for entrepreneurs in tourism, hotel, Information Technology and hospital sectors. The interest rate charged by the KFC on its loans is 9.5 per cent, which is lower than that charged by most of the other financial institutions. The KFC organised a business meet here on Monday to showcase its products before entrepreneurs in the district and elicit their ideas for devising new schemes. The institution's General Manager, Saurabh Jain, presided over the meeting.
