Hindustan Construction bags NTPC contract

MUMBAI: Infrastructure development company, Hindustan Construction Company, on Tuesday said it has bagged a Rs. 246 crore contract from NTPC for construction works at Loharinag Pala hydro electric power project in Uttaranchal. The project entails construction of barrage and desilting chamber, which has to be completed in three and a half years, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
