Fervent appeal to fans of Vijay

HELPING HAND: Director S.A. Chandrasekar distributing welfare assistance to beneficiaries.

TIRUCHI: The fans of matinee idol Vijay celebrated the inauguration of the `King of Tiruchi Ilaiya Thalapathi Vijay Narpani Manram' in Tiruchi on Sunday.

The actor's father, S. A. Chandrasekar distrbuted welfare assistance to members of weaker sections. Speaking on the occasion, the director stressed on the need for fan clubs to work for the welfare of the people.

Mr. Chandrasekar commended the efforts of the Vijay fan clubs in arranging blood donation camps as part of actor's birthday celebrations recently.

The State president of the club, Jayaseelan, state secretary, Raviraja and district president, R.K. Raja were present on the occasion.
