Seminar on management education from today

GUNTUR: A two-day national seminar on management education -- `the paradigm shift'-- will be conducted by the Department of Management Studies at Tellakula Jalayya Polisetty Somasundaram (TJPS) College in the city from Thursday, according to the department head, V. Rama Devi.

She told reporters here on Tuesday that management education was the key contributor to face the challenges of the highly-competitive environment following globalisation.

The seminar, sponsored by the University Grants Commission (UGC), seeks to focus on GATS and its implication for management education, trends in India, relationship with the industry, challenges faced by management educators, knowledge management and its relevance to education among other topics.
